Since entering the wine business in 2022, PUTAO has focused on discovering and introducing distinctive wines from boutique, independent and family-owned wineries to the Malaysian market.

Our Story
PUTAO was created as the dedicated wine trade name of Uliko Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd.
ULIKO has been part of the Malaysian FMCG distribution industry since 1992. With more than three decades of experience in sales, distribution and market development, the company entered the wine business in 2022.
Wine opened a new chapter for us.
Instead of focusing only on mainstream labels, we wanted to discover wines with something different — wines with character, authenticity and stories that connect people to the places and families behind them.
Today, PUTAO represents a growing portfolio of wines from Bulgaria, Spain, Australia, Argentina and Italy.
Our portfolio is built around a strong focus on boutique, independent and family-owned wineries.
We work closely with our winery partners to bring their wines to Malaysia and help build their brands in the local market.
